Athena Cuts Rooting Gel

Athena Cuts Rooting Gel is a premium rooting gel formulated to propagate new plants from stem and leaf cuttings of mother plants. It is formulated with an essential plant hormone that promotes rapid root generation and growth.
This water-based gel coats and seals the tissue around the cut stem. This contains a blend of hormones, nutrients, and vitamins that are easily absorbed by the plant to promote abundant root cell development.
Athena Cuts may be used on any type of cutting, including woody, herbaceous, flowers, ornamentals, vegetables, and fruit trees.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Squeeze a small amount of Athena Cuts Rooting Gel into a separate container.
Take cuttings from healthy mother plants and trim to 2-8 inch length.
Make cuts at a 45-degree angle on the stem.
Dip the cut end of the stem into Athena Cuts gel to the desired depth or immerse in water until ready to be dipped.
After Athena Cuts gel has been applied, place cuttings into a cloning system or rooting medium.
Depending on the variety, roots may appear within a few days or weeks of dipping. Transplant clones once the cuttings have rooted.
BEST PRACTICES
Take cuttings only from new growth on healthy mother plants.
Do not dip cuttings directly into container.

Athena Cleanse

Athena Cleanse is made from hypochlorous acid. This mild acid is derived from salt and a proprietary electrochemical treatment process. The result is a unique chemical with powerful oxidative properties which can be used to reduce mineral scale in irrigation systems.

Key Features

Non-toxic and non-nutritive - Safe to use on plants in and stage of growth

Works to descale irrigation systems and decompose residual organic matter

Effective as a final flush to remove mineral buildup (scale) in growing media and irrigation lines

Very low TDS - Doesn't throw off mineral balance

Keeps irrigation system cleaner and running efficiently longer

How To Use

System Maintenance:

Irrigation systems that are regularly maintained with Athena Cleanse treatment will last longer and run more optimally throughout. This is because Cleanse helps break down mineral scale and other buildup that has been lodged in the system.

Regular Use:

Use a dilute mixture of 2-5 mL per gallon water for regular maintenance.

Severe Conditions:

Increase rate to 5-10 mL per gallon water for combatting severe reservoir and growing media conditions.

RDWC and Other Recirculating Hydroponics Systems:

Any recirculating or deep water culture (DWC) irrigation system should use Athena Cleanse remove mineral residue and reduce scale.

Using Cleanse in a recirculating or DWC system helps break down materials with lower solubility ratings, such as mineral complexes that are no longer available to plants. Mineral buildup and lockout are major causes of nutrient deficiencies - solve these issues with Athena Cleanse.

Media/System Flush Mix:

Use Athena Cleanse at a rate of 5-10 mL/ gallon of water during the final flush stage to help reduce residual mineral buildup.

The mild acid used in Athena Cleanse does not impact plant growth or development, and as such, the product can be used to descale irrigation systems during all growth stages.

Athena CaMg

Athena CaMg is designed to supplement either of our 2-part liquid formulas. Some cultivars and growing conditions may require higher doses of Calcium, Magnesium, Iron and Nitrogen during heavy growth and development phases. This product effectively corrects these common deficiencies without throwing off overall elemental balance. In systems using reverse osmosis (RO) water and plants grown in inert media, such as coco and rockwool, Athena CaMg is particularly useful. Although our 2-part formulas already provide sufficient levels of Calcium and Magnesium, some growers require find supplementation helpful in demanding conditions.

Application Rates
Add 2.5 mL per gallon of water during all stages as needed.

See Feed Schedules for specific application recommendations.
How To Use:
Best Practices
Shake well before use.
Use clean measuring instruments--do not put anything into the bottle.
Some applications may require different dosages.
Recommended for hydroponic use, especially with inert media and when using reverse osmosis (RO) water.
Monitor EC regularly and adjust accordingly based on crop and growth stage.
Adjust to pH to proper levels after mixing all fertilizers and additives.

Athena Balance

Athena Balance is a simple formula of potassium silicate specifically concentrated to buffer irrigation water and stabilize to ideal pH. Silicon additionally benefits plant growth, stem structure, stress reduction, water usage (osmoregulation), and nutrient utilization.

Commercial growers find better results, particularly with reverse osmosis (RO) water, when buffering first with Athena Balance. Pure RO water has unstable chemical structure that can trap other nutrients when added without a buffer. Athena Balance adds just enough to the water to create a more homogenous fertilizer solution and reduce the need to pH adjust after mixing.

Formula is sediment-free and is compatible with mechanical dosing systems (Dosatron). Athena Balance is not recommended for electronic dosing systems (Netafim).
